Theodore "Tedo" Taylor, 89, of Sidney, Ky. passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Parkview Nursing Home.
He was born Jan. 11,1931 at Johns Creek, the son of the late Kelsey T. and Alice Helen Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Terry Michael Taylor, brothers Kelsey Jr. William J "Boshy" Taylor, sister-in-law "Ann" Taylor, and nephew John C. "Chris Taylor.
Survivors include his daughter, Judith (Saul) Noble of Wise, Va, former wife, Janice Scott of Hardy, Ky. Two brothers, John (Kathy) Taylor, Lonnie Taylor, nephew, Todd (Tiffany) Taylor, all of Sidney, KY., and niece Angela McKinney of North Carolina. Grandchildren include, Missie and Jeff McCoy, Amy and Dan Hayden-Provenzano, Brent and Megan Farley, step grandsons, Dustin and Felicia Noble, Kasey, and Paige Noble. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. Theodore served his country with distinction in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, from 1951-1953. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Bravery.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 1pm at The John Christopher Taylor Cemetery at Dix Fork, Sidney Ky. Services will be officiated by Elders of The Old Regular Baptist Church.
Pallbearers include Todd Taylor, Saul Noble, Buddy Williamson, Johnny Hiers, Dwight Bogar, and Ervin Thacker.
