Tommy Eldridge

Tommy Eldridge, 52, of Freeburn, KY, passed away October 17th, 2024, while impatient at Cabell Huntington  Hospital in Huntington, WV, surrounded by his loved ones. 

Tommy was born in South Williamson, KY on July 22nd, 1972, a loving son of the late Hollie & Madeline “Daniels” Eldridge. 

In addition to Tommy’s parents, he was also preceded by one brother, Franklin “Watchit” Eldridge.

Tommy was a retired coal miner and a former assistant pastor at Freeburn Free Pentecostal Church.  In his spare time, Tommy enjoyed training horses and caring for his animals.  Tommy always enjoyed serving the Lord and he will be sadly missed by all who loved him.

Those remaining to cherish Tommy’s memory includes his daughter, Shataria Eldridge of Freeburn, KY, and his son, Johnny Prater; brothers, Mark Eldridge of Phelps, KY, Chris Eldridge and his wife Jessica of Lexington, KY, sisters, Diane (Ronnie) Smith of Varney, WV, and Donna Young of Phelps, KY;  one grandson, Zalen Kade Eldridge. 

Tommy also leaves behind a special friend that he adored, Pastor Kenny Chapman and a loving host of nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be directly made to Jones & West Funeral Home to help offset Cremation Services.
