Tommy Sherpinskas, age 54, of Freeburn, KY. departed this life on July 4, 2023, at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Ky.
Born November 3, 1968, in New York, he was a son of the late Bob Sherpinskas and Shirley Jean Charles Justice. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Sherpinskas.
Tommy leaves to mourn his passing, a son, Derick Skyler (Cynthia) Layne of Stopover, KY; two daughters, Briana Jean Layne, Freeburn, KY, and Kisha Nicole Layne of Delorme, WV; three brothers, Ronnie (Heather) Sherpinskas of Turkey Creek, Ky., Bobby Sherpinskas, of Blackberry City, WV, and Kevin (Angie) Sherpinskas of Williamson, WV; a sister-in-law, Trish Sherpinskas, and several grandchildren.
Tommy worked in the timber industry. He was an outdoors person. He loved his family and had a love for animals. He enjoyed working on four-wheelers, crafting, & listening to music.
Cremation has taken place and no services are currently scheduled.
