Wanda Jean (Miller) Collins

Wanda Jean “Miller” Collins 48, of Kimper, KY passed away at her residence on June 20th, 2024.  Wanda was born at Pikeville, KY on November 1st, 1975, a cherished daughter of Wilma “Rice” Miller of Majestic, KY and the late Danny Miller.  In addition to Wanda’s father, she was also preceded by her aunt, Brenda Coleman.

Wanda took great pride in spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was very sociable, friendly and had a smile that would brighten anyone’s day.  One of her favorite things to do was spend time in the coziness of her home.  Wanda was of the Pentecostal faith and will be missed by all that adored her.

Those remaining to honor Wanda’s legacy include her mother, Wilma Miller of Majestic, KY; her loving children, Summer Collins of Canada, KY, and Derek Collins (Kaitlynn Vance) of Bradshaw, WV; one brother, Keith (Jennifer) Miller of Majestic, KY; her beautiful grandbabies, Danniel and Adalynn Collins; and nephews, Justin and Brandon Miller.

Wanda leaves behind a host of extended family, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to welcome friends for a memorial service honoring the life of Wanda on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 at 2:30 P.M. at Stopover Church of God located in Stopover, KY with Pastor Harold Layne officiating. 

Interment will conclude in Billy Dotson Cemetery at Phelps, KY.
