Willard "Woody" Casey

Willard “Woody” Casey, 71, of Phelps, KY, passed away at his residence on Friday January 3, 2020.  He was born on February 22, 1948 at Phelps, KY, to the late Man & Rittie Casey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: John Casey and two sisters: Ruby Wolford & Larua Wolford.

“Woody” always enjoyed going to church, and he was of the Pentecostal faith.  His favorite song was “I’ll Fly Away” and in his spare time he enjoyed being a collector of many things.

Those left to honor his memory include two brothers: Robert (Princie) Casey & Carl (Betty) Casey, both of Phelps, KY, and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Jones & West Funeral Home with Reverends Larry Rife & Bruce Hawkins officiating.  

Burial followed in the Family Cemetery, Phelps, Ky.

Visitation began at 6:00 P.M. Monday and Tuesday evenings with special singing beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
