Betty Jean Sellards

Betty Jean Sellards, 67, of McAndrews, KY, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 10, 2016 at her residence.  She was born March 31, 1948 in Welch, WV to the late William & Rebecca Scarberry. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother: Austin Scarberry; and a granddaughter: Tabitha McCoy. 

Betty enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and was of the Apostolic Pentecostal faith being a member of the McVeigh United Pentecostal Church. 

Survivors include six daughters: Dulley (Charlie) Dingess of South Williamson, KY, Mary (George) McCoy of McAndrews, KY, Rebecca(Bobby) Amburn of Stone, KY, Betty (Fred) McLemore of Sidney, KY, Georgia Nunley of Pinsonfork, KY, Dorthy Sellards of Stone, KY; one brother: William (Debbie) Scarberry of Welch, WV; three sisters: Margaret (Everett) Justice of Princeton, WV, Brenda McNeely of Welch, WV, Drema Scarberry of Welch, WV, along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends & family to mourn her passing. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the McVeigh United Pentecostal Church with  Rev. Joseph Crum officiating.  

Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens in Huddy, KY.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Friday at the McVeigh United Pentecostal Church with services nightly at 7:00 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones & West Funeral Home of Phelps, KY.
