Dear family and friends of Carol Jean Brown:
You and I have never met; I have driven thru your town as I live in Martinsburg, WV and travel south-ways often enough. But I ran straight into your obituary while checking on that of my beloved Mother, also Carol Jean (Coey) Brown.
So we share our heavy hearts and grief though we'd not recognize one another in passing. But in our loved ones' passing we are brought together, and my hope is that you have taken heart as our family has, and in togetherness found strength.
Bless you and yours from a passing stranger.

I am devastated to hear of Carol's passing. I was in the process of looking up her phone number when I saw this webpage. I was hoping we could see each other next month. That will not be happening now! I was so excited when we reconnected last year. She was my best friend in high school and college, and when we spoke last, it was though as time stood still. I am so sorry that we did not get the opportunity to see each other again. Ann, she spoke so tenderly about you and your children. I am just heartbroken that I will never see her again, and that she never told me that she was ill. My best to all of you.

I am so sorry to hear about Carol Jean. She was my first cousin and we had so much fun growing up together. I haven't seen her for quite a while living in another state. My prayers to the family and may God presence be with you during the time. Carol Jean was always a special person.

Our deepest sympathy for the family's loss. Carol was a very special person and will be missed. May God grant peace and comfort to the family during this difficult time.
