Carol Lou (Yohn) Smith

Carol Lou Smith, 60, of Smith Fork, Phelps, KY, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Pikeville Medical Center.  She was born November 30, 1954 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Clifford & Lula Mae (Shaw) Yohn.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Dewey Smith and two sisters: Sharon & Sandy Yohn.  Carol was a homemaker and of the Primitive Baptist Faith. 
Survivors include three sons: Brian & Glenn Smith, both of Smith Fork, Gary (Bonnie) Smith of Clay City, KY; two brothers: Michael & Buddy Yohn, both of Chicago, IL; one sister: Patty of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren: Austin & Justin Smith, both of South Williamson, KY, Jonathan Smith of Clay City, KY; one granddaughter on the way: Jessa Smith and a host of family & friends. 
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Jones & West Funeral Home with Elder Jimmy Lee Smith and Reverend Marvin Casey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery, Ash Lick Fork, Phelps, KY.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with services Thursday night at 7:00 P.M.
